Delete your data
SafeCleanup has no account and, by default, sends no personal data to any server. Almost all data stays on your device, and you can delete it yourself as shown below.

Check for anything you may want back first. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it also deletes the copies in the app's quarantine, and they can no longer be restored. Restore what you need from the History screen first.
No account, no personal data on servers
SafeCleanup has no sign-up or sign-in, and never sends file names, file contents, paths, app lists or logs to a server. Scanning and cleaning happen entirely on your device.
Delete on an Android phone
Settings, cleanup history and the quarantine the app stores on your device are all removed by either of these:
- Settings → Apps → SafeCleanup → Storage → "Clear storage" ("Clear data")
- Or uninstall SafeCleanup
- Photos and videos moved to the system trash are deleted by Android after its retention period (usually 30 days); you can also empty the trash in your gallery app right away.
Delete on a Windows PC
Settings, history and the quarantine live only on your PC.
- Settings → Apps → Installed apps → SafeCleanup → Uninstall
- If you used the portable (ZIP) version, or the folder remains after uninstalling, delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\CleanSpeed.
- If you ever cleaned with administrator rights, also delete %ProgramData%\CleanSpeed (requires administrator rights).
Server data from optional features
Only optional features you turn on yourself, such as sending a diagnostic report or connecting a calendar, leave data on a server. Sent reports are deleted automatically after 30 days, or immediately with "Delete my upload" in the app. Calendar tokens are deleted from the server as soon as you disconnect.
Website
safecleanup.app only counts anonymous totals, with no cookies or personal identifiers. There is no per-person data to delete.
Request deletion
If there is data you cannot delete as described above, or you want server data deleted, email us. Include the app name and, if you have one, the report ID. We handle requests within 10 days of receipt and reply with the result. We ask only for the minimum needed to verify the request and keep nothing beyond a record that it was handled.
